		<description><![CDATA[With the release of PSGroove and PSFreedom the PS3 became the easiest and cheapest of the next generation consoles to be hacked.

The greatest part about the hacks is that their both open source, this has meant that after the initial versions that only worked on certain developer class USB drives the software has now been ported to countless devices. Being open source has had it's disadvantages in that Sony released a firmware update 3.42 within a week which has disabled the ability to run either of these hacks for now.I've been checking the compatibility list daily
